Hi, thanks for visiting me at Coralium Consulting blogs. My name is Coralie Belman and I am a Certified Travel Manager. I’ve been in the travel industry for over 20 years now and have had the opportunity to work in many different areas. This gives me some unique perspectives to bring to new opportunities that come my way. I like to think of myself as a “go to” person for the travel industry where I can use my connections and experience to help clients, friends, associates and colleagues with their projects, vacation dreams or business vision. Through my work at Coralium, I look after clients with meeting & event management, arranging their travel requirements, training for various companies in the travel & tourism industry (tour operators, tourist boards, travel agencies etc.), instructing travel topics at a local college, writing on travel industry events or destinations and more in-depth projects related to occupational standards and certification for workers. Some might think I’m a puzzle – slotting together various aspects of my career to make an entire picture. But I like to think of myself as a recipe. Changing it up on occasion to add a little of this ingredient or take away another one so that the palate is always tempted and always fresh and interesting. And that’s what I plan to do with Coralium Consulting blogs. Use my personal experience with destinations and work experience to offer solutions and suggestions to you. Please enjoy my blogs.

Coralium is an independent consulting firm working globally and specializing in the travel & tourism industry. One of the main focuses of the business is human resources development. Depending upon the project, Coralium will draw from a team of Subject Matter Experts who come together to work on tourism training and human resource development projects. They have extensive experience in working with travel industry groups to conduct needs assessments, propose solutions and develop training material.

Social Media Discovery With Coralie:
I think there is tons of hype out there about getting on the social media and technology bandwagon. Everyone says it’s a good thing and a “must do”. For many people the ideas are overwhelming. Where do I start? How do I start? What is all of this stuff and what is it going to do for me? How do I build a following etc. So I decided to use the same principles that I apply to other aspects of my business using simple, down to earth easy ingredients to look at social media from an “average Joe’s” perspective and develop not only my own social media strategy for Coralium Consulting but also help other “average Joe’s” to understand this marketing and communication media as well.
